ACCC Honors Employees for Correctional Officers & Employees Week

Happy National Correctional Officers and Correctional Employee Week to all of the hardworking individuals at Allen County Community Corrections! We want to take the opportunity this week to recognize and express our appreciation for our team’s dedication and commitment to behavior change and community safety.

In 1984, President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the first full week of May as “National Correctional Officer/Employee Week” to honor correctional officers who demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strength in their challenging and demanding work environment. The following year, this same week was also established as “Public Service Recognition Week” to acknowledge all federal, state, county, and local government employees who work tirelessly to serve their communities and promote and protect the public interest.

ACCC employs and supports a large team who serve as agents of change in the field.  Join us in thanking them for their dedication and commitment to their duties, working daily to promote those we serve while also focusing on the well-being of our community. Their compassion and professionalism are a testament to their unwavering commitment to rehabilitation and to justice. We are grateful for the skills and sacrifices made every day and for the positive impact each ACCC employee has.

Join us in recognizing and thanking all of our dedicated employees during this very special week.

To our excellent team- thank you for all that you do! Your hard work and dedication truly make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many Allen County residents.  We are grateful to have each of you.
